It all started at the local skateshop, a long time ago. We would meet up there every day after school.
There was a couch and a VCR, we’d watch videos and talk about new tricks. It felt good, reassuring.
It inspired comfort. A hOme away from home.

Time has since kept feeding that simple idea:

to offer a piece of hOme to everyone, even when your journey leads you to strange places.

ARTO SAARI

2001 Skater of the Year, Arto Saari left home (Finland) as a young Viking teenager after destroying the 1998 Lausanne Grand Prix and the string of European competitions that followed that summer to make it as a pro skater with nothing more than a mean bag of tricks and about three English words in his repertoire. Since then, Arto has made his home in Los Angeles and built a career as one of the most revered pro skaters alive.
Now evolving into an accomplished photographer (www.artosaari.com), it is rare to encounter Arto without a Leica in his hands and a Flip Skateboard under his feet. Though Arto calls L.A. home, he brought a little bit of Finland with him. If you are ever so lucky to skate his backyard pool, home to some of the most legendary skate sessions of the new millennium, ask him for a taste of some reindeer, Finnish mustard and chocolate.

TRAVIS RICE

Travis is known for being one of the most progressive riders in the world. And his love of exploration, of constantly pushing the boundaries, has spilled over into many and varied pursuits. He owns and currates A Symbol gallery, a vehicle for visual artists and connoisseurs of surf, skate, snow lifestyle (asymbolgallery.com).
He created Supernatural, a premier snowboarding event focused on big mountain freestyle.
He sails a boat like a pirate and comes to the aid of damsels in distress. Legend.

PATRICK ARMBRUSTER

Long ago he decided to leave Switzerland to become a photographer, which eventually turned into film making and made him a recognized globe-trotter. Always travelling in style, Brusti now spends his life between a river in the center of Zürich and a secret hiding spot in the heart of Brasil, catch him if you can.
